Part I:

You are going to create a silhouette of a figure that uses a combination of different Photoshop effects and tricks. You will focus on the art principle of MOVEMENT and the art elements LINE and COLOR. Everything will be from scratch and no images will be used from the Internet.
  1. Take a photo of someone in action (it can be you)
  2. Document size is 8.5x11"
  3. Cut out the figure
  4. Add a black background on a separate layer
  5. Apply the dispersion effect to the figure
  6. Watercolor on paper & scan
  7. Combine the watercolor layer & the dispersion layer using the new effect & play with blending modes
  8. Use the neon line effect to highlight the movement within the figure

  • Focus on the Art principle- MOVEMENT
